Word on the street is NFTs are almost out of their lull and will be back stronger than ever. This is similar to how Bitcoin went from $1 to $100, rested a bit, and then shot to something like $25k as of this posting.
There’s supposed to be some new technologies and use cases for it and I’m excited to see it all unfold. I’m also excited to finally throw my hat in the ring and become a part of this digital art meta.
This piece means a lot to me. It’s otherworldly in a lot of ways. You know how there are things we cannot fully explain because we do not fully understand them ourselves? This is one of those things.
It’s like when you are thinking of someone and then suddenly they call. How does that work?? As far as I can tell our best answer is just speculation.
But that’s what makes this piece special. Something happened on the 31st of October, 2020. I don’t really know what to make of it but there was something there. For me to randomly paint DOOM, one of my favorite authors, it’s just just kinda weird.
And to be clear, although I am a fan of his works, I never have been the type of stan to create fan art of people.
More than a year after his passing I was made me aware that my painting and DOOM’s transition happened on the same day.
Luckily I posted the painting on Facebook and Instagram immediately after I finished it so now their timestamps can validate my story.
I’m selling the NFT and the original .PSD file that was created that day along with it. As the owner you are free to do whatever you please with it.
